DOUBLE XL 


Yzen Movie Review : Double XL -- 3 stars or less but worth your free time

Do watch Double XL for a different flavour of story writing. While most of the movies, songs & even advertisements thrive on "slim is in", or media raves about "size zero", this is a refreshing change which will hit most of us - the aam aadmi -- People who live to eat & would love to flaunt their beer bellies, love handles & oodles of extra weight !!

Story is very predictable at every step, nothing new or fancy about that. A bunch of no hopers, beating all odds to ultimately win at the end is so much of a cliche', that it can be even boring at times. But not in this case. 

Sonakshi Sinha (from Delhi city) & Huma Qureshi (from B city - Meerut), are couple of over-weight "misfits" 😜 hop on to the bandwagon of "we will prove them wrong". Their characters are extremely loveable & their dialogues are immediately relatable! Luckily there is not much of a melodrama drag even when overtly emotional & no rona dhona stuff. 

Just wish that the male cast could have been a bit better with a good screen presence. An excellent comic like Ritesh Deshmukh or even a goofy Sharman Joshi comes to mind. 

Yzen says : Watch when you are free & funky. Will go with the flow. 

3 stars or even less but lets you watch & do a lot of other stuff on the side ...

  From rented bicycles to traffic jams Born in the 70s but really speaking, I grew up in the 80s. Back then, having a bicycle was rare. We rented them, by the hour.
